Job: Advisory and Assistance Analyst

ARINC, Omaha, is looking for an Advisory and Assistance Analyst to join our team. In this role, the Advisory and Assistance Analyst will provide services for USSTRATCOM/J9 to include integrated and mission assessments, studies and analyses, symposia, academic internship program support, Command innovation, and modeling and simulation. This position focuses on supporting Command advocacy assessment studies and analysis. Qualifications REQUIREMENTS:
- Eight or more years relevant experience.
- Possess experience with Research and development of OPORDS and OPLANS and determining appropriate assessment methodologies.
- Domain expertise and experience in one of more of USSTRATCOM s UCP assigned mission areas.
- Extensive knowledge of combatant command and DoD advocacy processes (IPL, POM, etc) and products.
- Five (5) years of COCOM J8 staff experience.
- Familiarity with end-to-end operations and processes from national level through unit execution.
- Possess ability to think broadly and strike a balance between traditional and nontraditional thinking and to see interrelationships between domain of expertise and other domains.
- Posses critical thinking skills, both qualitative and quantitatively, and ability to prepare a well-grounded, defensible argument.
- Have ability to work well with other organizations and personnel with disparate backgrounds.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively both verbally and in writing.
- Have advanced proficiency with Microsoft Project and Access to develop, create, and maintain complex project schedules and experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access and other productivity software.

EDUCATION: Masters degree in a technical area or equivalent.
