Job Description

Centered in the heart of downtown Omaha, Ne, Creighton's campus spans over 130 acres and employs over 3000 people making it one of the largest employers in the Omaha community. Creighton is a Catholic and Jesuit comprehensive university committed to excellence in selected undergraduate, graduate, and professional programs.

Assists Head Strength and Conditioning Coach in developing and implementing programs to train athletes in speed, strength, power, agility and flexibility. Also provides information to student athletes regarding nutrition, supplementation , and other ergogenic aids. Works with the Sports Medicine Staff to identify student athletes at risk for injury and address deficiencies in order to aid in injury prevention. Knowledge of specific sport's concepts/strategies and NCAA rules and regulations. Ability to demonstrate proper lifting technique for Olympic lifts, strength training exercises, running form, plyometrics, etc...

Candidates must proficient in the following areas:

Organization and planning, computer knowledge (excel, word), communication, interpersonal and human relations skills, leadership and motivation, and the ability to serve as a positive role model.

Job Requirements

Qualifications:
* 2 years' experience in Strength and Conditioning at the colligiate level.
* Bachelors' Degree (Master's preferred).
* NSCA certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS).
* Certified in CPR and AED.
