Jobing Description

* Must be able to read, speak & write english * Supervises the completion of all cleaning tasks and ensures quality standard is met. * Instructs workers in the proper use of equipment and chemicals, asks Supervisor for direction if necessary. * Orders supplies and performs supply inventory. * Monitors and verifies all daily and weekly labor hours, and turns in all time sheets weekly to ABM Office. * Perform all general cleaning duties as needed to fill in for absent employees or to assist with completion of work orders. Communicates with the Supervisor when a proper coverage is needed for absent employees. * Follows HazCom requirements for chemical labeling and usage. * Perform all duties as assigned, including supervision and general cleaning. * Makes sure janitors closets are organized, clean and chemicals are stored properly * Reports any accidents, incidents and / or damges at the buildings to the Supervisor * Responsible for performing general cleaning and upkeep of assigned area within a specific building. Specific tasks are not guaranteed, therefore, must be flexible in performing assigned duties. * Accepts accountablility for building key s bulding masters and all access cards that are assigned. * Treats all fellow employees and customers with RESPECT, FAIRNESS, and DIGNITY. * Must be able to perform all physical aspects of job duties. * Must be able to clean 5,000 square feet per hour, shich includes walking, standing, reaching, stooping, bending, and lifting. * Must be able to push, pull and lift 40 lbs. Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. * One to 3 years of janitorial experience. * Excellent communication skills, written and oral. * Ability to work independently and efficiently without daily supervision. * Confidentiality and discretion in customer dealings. * Ability to pass ABM/Client background check requirements * ABM is a EOE Nights: 5:00pm - 1:30am, 8 hours per day Monday - Friday $12.00 per hour (Hourly).
