The position of Temporary/Part Time Injection Molding and Coating General Helper located in Valley will support operations in Valley's Injection Molding and Coating department.

The Temporary/Part Time Injection Molding and Coating General Helper will be responsible for but not limited to the following specific duties:

* Continuous operating of plastic molding machines and lens coating equipment
* Demonstrating safe work behaviors to avoid injury to self or others
* Following operating procedures and customer specifications to produce quality products which are delivered to customers on time
* Working effectively within a production work team.
* Contributing to continuous improvement and problem solving
* Maintaining neat and orderly conditions in area and help maintain and promote safe conditions.
* Operating processes according to procedures
* Operating assigned equipment in a safe, effective and efficient manner.
* Taking appropriate action when unusual conditions occur.

This position may require working either a first, second or third shift depending on shift availability

This is a temporary position in which hours worked cannot exceed a total of 899 hours within one year

**Qualified applicants will be required to take and pass 3M testing as part of the selection process

Qualifications

Basic/Minimum Qualifications:

* Three months of post High School work experience

Preferred Qualifications:

* High School diploma or GED
* Good computer knowledge
* Understand and follow both oral and written instructions.
* Self-motivated, team oriented and excellent interpersonal skills
